Ever since our daily hour’s exercise during lockdown, the interest and trend in technical outdoor activities and gear has absolutely skyrocketed and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. This has seen the trend of Gorpcore (named after the classic hiker term “Gorp” which stands for Good Old Raisins and Peanuts) gain massive popularity, bringing techwear brands to the forefront, and even influencing existing streetwear brands to add multi-functional designs to their latest collections, with a focus on materials such as Gore-Tex, Primaloft and ripstop.

Due to Britain’s unpredictable weather, techwear has always sat parallel to streetwear clothing and has been adopted from subcultures stretching from the birth of rave in the North of England in the late 80s, to modern-day UK Trap & Drill. We’ve curated two outfits for an outdoor expedition to showcase some of our favourite, functional pieces that can be styled for a hike, a rave or a run to the shops in the rain.

Choose from durable backpacks, weatherproof headwear, breathable jackets, convertible trousers, waterproof footwear and timeless graphic t-shirts.

Wellgosh love.
