Frank’s Wellgosh Wears has a lot of elements that work together effortlessly without looking over the top, telling us one thing; this guy really knows how to accessorise. As always, let’s work our way down from the top. The cosy yet breathable Short Watch Cap from Universal Works is a beanie hat with a thick knit woollen construction, complete with a rolled cuff, pinched crown and a docker style design.

Continuing the theme of well-designed workwear, the Allotment Jacket from Satta perfectly displays its vision in creating sustainable products that are durable enough to stand the test of time. This is an ideology the band has kept since Joe Lauder, the brand’s founder, first hand-crafted a skateboard from recycled wood before expanding into the production of clothing. The jacket takes inspiration from vintage chore coats, with a soft enzyme-washed corduroy construction, a boxy fit and two large pouch pockets for your essentials. The washed black finish gives a faded brown effect to the overshirt coat, making it easy to style with neutral tones or bolder colours. This ties in perfectly with the Heresy Feral Hoodie in a neutral putty, providing a cosy middle layer with its fleece construction. The hoodie has an embroidered Stonehenge chest design, showcasing the brand’s heavy influence from British folklore, with other details including a press-stud hood, kangaroo pocket and elasticated hems.

For a base layer, Frank has chosen one of the finest t-shirts we have to offer from Sunray Clothing, crafted from recycled Japanese cotton by a family-run company, and manufactured on an antique spinning machine. The shirt has a hemless tubular body, ensuring that the garment retains its shape regardless of how many washes it goes through. The Pico Pant from General Admission delivers a relaxed fit with a tapered and cropped leg, in a vintage-esque garment washed and dyed Navy finish. These workwear staples are held up by the hard-wearing Clip Belt from Carhartt WIP, in the instantly recognisable Carhartt tawny brown; complete with a nickel-free and embossed closure clip. The cropped nature of the trousers shows off the super-premium Japanese-made socks by Rosterox in a multi-coloured heathered finish, with an embroidered tiger on one ankle and a contrasting Kanji symbol on the other adding a nice detailed touch. Frank’s shoe of choice for this outfit is the Beige (or Ivory depending on your preference) camo slip-ons by AAPE by A Bathing Ape, the latest diffusion of Nigo’s iconic streetwear brand. The instantly recognisable custom camouflage pattern prevalent in Bape’s pieces can be seen represented on the top of the shoe, with embroidered white text and a boldly printed midsole.

For all your daily bits, the Shoulder Pouch bag from Engineered Garments has a large flap pocket with a press stud fastening. This side bag comes in a beautiful deep Indigo with a denim texture, with a stitched strap that can be unravelled for your chosen length. Last but not least, a guest appearance from Gromit of the iconic Wallace & Gromit stop motion series peeks out from the shoulder pouch bag in the form of a 100% Be@rbrick, the smaller version of its 400% counterpart. These super limited edition posable figures can be purchased as a two-pack, and can be kept as a collectable item or displayed as a talking piece in your living room, office, studio or pretty much anywhere you fancy.
