On the 22nd of October, a new chapter in Wellgosh history began as we opened the doors of our second store, located in the home of Robin Hood, Nottingham. Since the late 80s, Wellgosh has been supplying the East Midlands, and indeed, the whole of the United Kingdom with modern and cutting-edge streetwear, before the term had even really been coined. As cultivators of streetwear culture, and one of the first multi-brand stores to grace the high street, Wellgosh has worked closely with Michael Kopleman (original member of the Stussy tribe and part of the Gimme 5 agency) and the best brands to give the people what they want. A passion for clothing, obsession with subculture and a sense of community have been the cornerstone of Wellgosh’s success, and this ideology hasn’t changed.

Never fearing to cover uncharted ground, an additional bricks and mortar store was the next logical step for the company, and what better way to launch the shop with an exclusive Jason Markk shoe cleaning service for customers whilst they browse the carefully curated collection. This was also a first for the iconic shoe cleaner brand and was the first time their UK team has ventured outside of London and the first UK-based multi-brand retailer they’ve lent their skilful hand to.

There are also rumours of a launch party (date tbc) to kick things off properly, amongst plenty of other exciting news to come – so swing by the store on 6 Clumber St, Nottingham NG1 3GA where the friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming staff will be happy help you find whatever you’re looking for, offer advice on garms and trainers or just to chew the fat.
